ChronoBank team attends major conferences: Token2049 and BlockShow meetup

Last week saw ChronoBank’s CEO Sergei Sergienko and Mike Savchenko, CTO, attend the Token2049 Conference in Hong Kong, while our Digital Communications Manager Alexandra attended the BlockShow meetup in Berlin.

ChronoBank has always prioritised attending major events in the crypto world, since maintaining a presence is key to staying up-to-date with tech and developments, and making the connections that will help us establish strong partnerships. To that ends, we were recently at both Token2049, a major crypto conference in Hong Kong, and BlockShow in Berlin!

Token2049

Despite the recent ban, China is still showing huge interest in ICOs — albeit in modified forms. There is a thriving blockchain and token scene, and it is clear that Asia is going to be one of the largest markets for blockchain projects in the coming months and years. Token2049 was a place for industry pioneers and early adopters to meet, exchange ideas and explore the growing token economy — an extremely important event for ChronoBank to attend and make some valuable connections.

BlockShow

Meanwhile, Alexandra and Florenz met with 150 other crypto enthusiasts at the Berlin leg of BlockShow, a community-run roadshow. Berlin has long been recognised the capital of Europe for the blockhain community, and this was another great opportunity to link up with the grassroots following on the continent and build more valuable relationships.

Amongst the industry leaders that attended were Franziska Hei, Portfolio Manager at Innovation Hub by Innogy, who shared her experience of investing in startups and rapidly growing new businesses. Norbert Gehrke from nakamo.to also shared how tokenisation will soon become a global phenomenon, and how we can start to improve the dysfunctional financial system.
