As ever, we’ve been working on not only extending the functionality of our platform, but to enhance what we’ve already built, too. We’re pleased to announce that there’s been plenty new, of both, in the most recent release!

UX

We’ve made lots of improvements to the user interface and UX. In terms of features, you’ll find new contract design and contract details with a greatly improved UI. New contract features include digital escrow, flexible setup, contract assignee, specific tasks, a budget, pay task functionality, return task for further work, contract termination, file management, and attached documents. The workflow has also been improved, with a negation stage and versioning.

Users can assign a specific Contractor, add fixed or hourly budget and write precise tasks. Start/End Date, Upfront Payment and escrow can also be adjusted.

User profile has been updated with a portfolio, a new profession field, recover forgotten password and resend activation link, a public profile link, profile snippets, and various other minor improvements. The application now offers email notifications, too.

Architecture update and performance improvements

We have a rapid development cycle and are able to implement improvements quickly. That has enabled us to keep raising the performance of the app overall — now 20 times faster than before! It also has dramatically improved scalability and stability, meaning it’s more reliable than ever.

Disputes and resolution

LaborX team has designed contracts in such a way as to reduce the chance of disputes occurring in the first place. Should it become necessary to address a disagreement, we have our SmartDispute module. Version 1 of this is currently being finalised and will shortly go live. The dispute resolution service is obviously an important part of the decentralised platform, and it will continue to evolve during the lifetime of the project. We will be announcing further details with the next release.

What about LHT?

Our team is continuing to work on LHT, Labour-Hour token. Unfortunately, the token will not go live with this release. We understand that this is a great disappointment, for both the LaborX team and our community and users. However, we won’t release something unfinished as we respect our community and care about Chronobank brand. The team is continuing to develop LHT, and we’ll make more information available as soon as possible.

The labour market

LaborX is continuing to work to establish a robust user base of both employers and job seekers through contracts, also improving profiles with reputation, statistics and much more. At the moment there is no ETA for this.

That’s all for now. Please continue to give us feedback about our products, especially if you find any bugs. If you’d like to join LaborX, let us know in telegram or via email.
