We have released a new version of LaborX, with a number of important new features and fixes. This will be the final update before our launch!

We are close to the production release of LaborX! The most recent version includes several important new functions that will ensure the software is easy to access and useful for businesses and workers alike. Here are the key updates:

Time is money — don’t miss a minute!

We have added a timer to allow users to track how long they spend on different tasks. At the moment, tracked hours are not connected to budget or payments — we assume that the Client and Service Provider will make arrangements for any additional work directly between themselves.

Multi-tasking? No worries

We have reorganised the Budget and tasks in a more logical way. It is now also possible to include many tasks in the same work contract.

Thank you for all your feedback! We have processed 48 submissions from last testing alone — and already completed the majority of them.

Stay safe

Users can now protect their accounts with two-factor authentication. You can find this in your Profile security settings.

It’s good to talk

The new Chat functionality can now be used for contract negotiation and discussing the details of different stages of a project.

Keep track of developments

A signed contract now has a Log tab, where users can find the history of the contract.

Social login

We have reactivated Google and Facebook login, and added an option to use LinkedIn too.

Dispute Service

We’ve developed the first version of our dispute service. Now when parties are not happy with the outcome of the job or anything else, they can start the dispute resolution process. LaborX dispute service then will be activated and our disputer will make a decision depending on the information provided about the case.

Improved Workflow for Contract Termination

We’ve added an option for refunds of the upfront payments to the client if some tasks were not completed on termination of the contract.

Also in this version, both clients and services providers can accept funds when the contract is terminated.

Fixing problems and improvements

Aside from all these great new features, we’ve fixed multiple bugs and made various UX improvements and added small features such as the ability to remove the contract.

Also added were security improvements for the whole system.
